I have been using HP printers for 20+ years. I have never had this issue before. I see no options for printing transparencies. Has HP really removed this option in the software? I tried putting setting for Glossy photo paper, after seeing that suggestion on the internet, but ink came out wet a streaked. Any suggestions?

Hi @Randomtas,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
Thank you for posting your query in this forum, it's a great place to find answers.
I reviewed your post and I understand that you are you having issues printing transparency.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.
- When was the last time the Printer was working fine?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
- Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?
Meanwhile, follow below steps and check if it helps.
You should just be able to load the transparency in the tray (I would only load one at a time) and then when you go to print, you would select Printing Preferences (this can be different, depending on what software you are using) and then on the Paper/Quality tab, select Letter as the Paper Size (assuming they are standard letter-size transparencies) and then 'Transparency Film' as the Media Type.
NOTE: You need to make sure your transparencies are INKJET transparencies.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.
Take care.

This answer was not helpful. The original question stated in their query, " I see no options for printing transparencies. Has HP really removed this option in the software?" Clearly, there is no longer an option to select printing on transparency film. Is there another option that can be selected in order to get it to print properly? Thanks.
