I printed an image on  Kodiak waterslide premium paper for an inkjet printer but the decal image got all cracked after putting in water.  I coated the image with Krylon Clear Acrylic spray as recommended by the paper vendor.....does anyone have any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

Once you print the pattern/photo/image using the printer, soak the image paper into warm water for 30 seconds until you can slide the paper. Then place the image onto the mug, glass or furniture and then slide the paper from underneath the image so that it can stick.

Not enough clear coat can also cause cracks, try five coats of clear coat with Krylon. The longer an acrylic dries, the more brittle it becomes.

Let me know how it goes!
