No matter what I try to print (or make a copy of ) the printer will not print it!! I get the error message "Out of Paper" then it shows "Load paper and select OK" and then below that it shows and Icon for "ColorLok" and it says "HP recommends ColorLok papers for best print results" and then below that it ask you to hit "OK".
Well I open and close the door for the paper because I have paper in there that I have been using all along (including yesterday) and hit OK. I keep getting the same exact error and it will not print OR copy anything!! This has been going on all day and I do not know what else to try. Is this a software problem or hardware problem. I have uninstalled the printer software already but that did not work. I had unplugged the printer and waited 5 minutes and then plugged it back in - along with shutting down my laptop and unplugging it as well.
I have not tried to clean all the rollers inside yet but that was one of the things I found on HP site to try. I am a little leary of trying this because I do not want to ruin anything on the inside by cleaning it. It says to use bottled water and a qtip to clean them but I am still worried about opening up and turning on its side.
I am also doing a current complete virus scan on my computer and waiting for that to complete as well. Is anyone else having this problem...this just started today. As of yesterday I did not have this problem.
Please HELP!!!

@Kellie8, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Re-installing the drivers on the PC will not help. This seems like an issue in the printer. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Update the printer firmware
Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your computer.
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Perform the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this document.
To know how to load the papers into the printer, refer to this document. Make sure the paper width guides are adjusted in the input tray.
If the error persists, resetting the printer to its factory settings may help.
Let me know how this goes.
