i want to turn off all wifi on my envy 5030,so no RF freq.  i  understand there are two signals that require turning off, i found lots of instructions but seriously still have no idea what I'm doing...ive never owned a printer before. i can switch te wifi on the lcd off but not the other one.

i tried accessing EWS but cant get that to work...

I have managed to print off a HP Network Config page but thats it...

should i have the printer connected to my lap top and switched on?? with wifi on? or just hit it with a hammer;)

I require "turn off all wifi for dummies instructions"

@veedub56,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Community,

In this scenario, I would suggest you try to turn off Wireless feature and Wi-Fi direct from the printer control panel.

Please follow the steps to turn off Wi-Fi Direct:

On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch (Wi-Fi Direct). 2. Touch ( Settings ). 3. If the display shows that Wi-Fi Direct is on , touch the toggle button next to Wi-Fi Direct to turn it off.

On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch Wireless - 2. Touch ( Settings ). 3. If the display shows that Wireless is On, touch the toggle button next to Wireless to turn it off.

For more details, please use the User guide of this printer.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help you.
