Based on the design of this unit with a large imaging drum, the spacing of the repetitive defects suggests a bad imaging drum or fuser unit. Unfortunately the user guide does not list the spacing for repetitive defects so I cannot tell you for sure. If the toner is all well bonded on the page, I would look at the imaging drum. Try reseating it.
