HP Pagewide pro mfp 477dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Please help, i am trying to connect a HP Pagewide pro mfp 477dw wirelessly on a Ubiquiti Unifi wireless AP AC PRO but while it does pick up the SSID, it shows up as an "unsecured network" and does not allow me to enter a WPA encryption key. The wireless network is wpapsk protected WPA Personal with GTK rekeying and I am combining the 2.4 and 5G WIFI networks.

I tried switching on and off different options. It's not my printer because it shows my neighbor's AP as a security-enabled network.

Any help work be super please

Hi all, I got it to work, with a work-around I guess. From the printer itself I am clueless how to select the type of connection you want to make to an AP, but if you put the printer on UTP (your RJ45 plug wiring it into your LAN network first), you can approach and configure the printers' wireless setting with WPA and the phrase first (you do get the options on the HP management software running on Windows 10). It doesn't attach to an AP until you disconnect your RJ45 LAN plug.
Now it works fine, no issues.
