Hello, @GWNeal

Glad to know that you found a workaround to adjust the label margins.

This could be caused due to the printer drivers as well. You can try to reinstall the drivers and check. Here are the steps:

  • Unplug the USB cable from the printer and computer if present.
  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Photosmart printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Now click on http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL43773/mp-108670-3/PS7520_1315-1.exe to download and install the printer drivers.
  • Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

If you have any troubles, let me know and I will do my best to help!

Cheers 🙂

Hello, @GWNeal - Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for your continued participation in HP Support Forums!

I see that the printer is printing the Avery labels slightly off the margin. You have also tried printing the labels using the Microsoft Word application.Appreciate your efforts so far, I'll do my best to find you a solution 🙂

First off, go to http://hp.care/2py0T7f and check under “How do I print envelope address labels?” and follow the steps listed.

Now, check these Avery support documents which will help you printer better.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Good luck 🙂

Thanks for the reply, however none of the links suggested, address or fix the issue.  I am using Word 2010.  The deminsions for the Avery label in Word is correct, but when I print the lable, the 1st print line is 1 inch from the top of the sheet,  It should be 1/2 inch.  It used to work on an old HP printer, don't remember the model.    I have used the label adjustment in Word to compensate for  descrepancy. Unless you have a fix for the printer, consider the issue closed.
