Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

So much depends on your printer model and your installed full driver printer software.

Additionally, the full driver must be selected in Printing Properties as opposed to the IPP / Class driver, for example.

That said,

The following example shows the control features for Custom Forms as they appear in Printing Preferences or in the Print Server Properties form setup.

The Custom setup in Printing Preferences -- if you cannot "Delete" the selected form -- might allow you to edit that form.

Make changes to the form - doesn't matter what kind - and save the form.

After that, you might be able to Delete that form from the Custom list.

Dear Dragon-Fur...

Thanks so much for the reply. I have HP Designjet T120 24-in Printer and I use Windows 11. I am an arcitect by profession and I run A1 sized prints often. But there are times I run prints with customised paper size, where the longer dimension of the A1 is stretched upto 1.5 times. That means the 841 mm dimension of the A1 sheet is elongated upto 1262 mm, while the 594 mm is kept unchanged. This is possible as the said printer takes the paper roll that's 594 mm.

Till a month ago, I used run the printer on Windows 10 and printing was hassle free. But when I switched to Windows 11, I see a peculiar problem... The printer cuts the paper when its length is about 1150 mm, though the custom size for its length is set as 1262 mm. Don't know how to fix this problem.

Further, I created many custom sizes with 594x1262 mm dimensions with different names thinking that a new custom size can solve the `premature' cutting in length of the paper. Now I am unable to edit or delete these customised paper sizes, as the DELETE-option is always greyed out.

I also confess that I don't get to see the Custom Paper Size Form as you have mentioned. I also do not see the kind of image/ screen that you shared for the same.

I have attached the screenshot of the option that I get on my computer.  Please note that the DELETE-otion is greyed out though the selected Custom Size which is named PR1.5.WhatsApp Image 2022-09-29 at 10.53.58 AM.jpeg

You are welcome.

OK - this illustrates the value of having told us which printer you have in your first post.

To protect both of us I'd not have answered.  Smiling.

I have zero exposure to this printer model.

Worse, I don't know which of the several software packages are necessary, which packages are considered a "full driver" package, and which of the drivers are installed and are being used.

What can I do for you?

Maybe nothing - I can perhaps explain part of what might be happening.

Keep in mind, I have a 50% chance missing (or corrupting) at least part of the explanation.

If enough of it makes sense in the context of your situation, you might be able to find and fix what is missing.

Start...

Looking at Software and Drivers > Windows 11

There are several print software packages available.

The "main" (full driver) package installer:

HP DesignJet and PageWide XL Windows Printer Driver installer

Description

This is the best way to install the driver and software. The installer automatically selects the most suitable driver type based on your printer model and OS.

HP DesignJet and PageWide XL Windows Printer Driver installer contains: HP DesignJet and PageWide XL PCL3 and PDF Driver for Windows modern apps, HP DesignJet and PageWide XL PCL3 for Windows, HP Designjet Utility and HP Print Preview.

What appears to be an updated version of one of the packages that are included in that main installer:

HP DesignJet and PageWide XL PCL3 Driver for Windows

I am not sure which of the print drivers you are using.

From your image, the "InkJet" printer equivalent to the visible print menu interface is "HP Smart Printing".

OK - here's where typing on the fly about a subject for which I have no experience can go horribly wrong...

IF the software driver you are using is indeed a type of "HP Smart Printing" interface, that is a modern menu version of a print driver used to view and submit jobs,

(and)

If the CAD "Preset" you are using was originally a Custom Shortcut that was created in a different driver,

(then)

You can use the driver here (in this view / submission menu) -- you cannot delete it because the shortcut is not actually part of the driver (menu) you are using now.

What is wrong?

I believe -- based on my experience with a completely different type of printer and software -- that you are missing a driver.

That is, I think you have part of the of the printer software installed but not the "full driver" that provides the foundation on which some of these other drivers depend.

What if?

It might be that the full driver (whatever comprises a "full driver" in your software) is indeed (already) installed.

If this is the case, then it might be necessary to call up a different driver.

For example, if you are using "HP Click", use "HP DesignJet and PageWide XL PCL3 Driver for Windows"
