Hi @JB70nr,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there might be a connectivity issue or a temporary server issue causing the app download to fail repeatedly. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this.
Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure your connection is stable. If you're on Wi-Fi, try moving closer to the router or switching to a wired connection if possible.
Clear Cache and Restart Device: If you're downloading the app on a mobile device or computer, try clearing the cache of the browser or app store you're using, then restart your device and try again.
Use an Alternative Download Source:
- If you're downloading the HP Smart app, you can try downloading it directly from the HP Smart app page if you're on a computer or from the App Store/Google Play Store if you're using a mobile device.
- You can also try downloading from HP’s official support website by searching for your printer model (Smart Tank 5107).
Try Another Device: If you have another device (such as a different computer, tablet, or phone), try downloading the app on that device and see if it works.
Check for Software Updates: Ensure your operating system and app store are up-to-date, as compatibility issues can sometimes prevent apps from downloading.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
