A couple of months ago, I bought a new HP OfficeJet Pro 8124e printer. It was printing perfectly until today, when every single document I tried to print failed, saying, "Unable to print. Rendering failed."
I have done all of the following, and nothing works:
* run diagnostics through HP Smart and the computer (no issues found)
* rebooted the printer, computer, and router
* reinstalled the drivers
* factory reset the printer
* reinstalled HP Smart
* reinstalled the printer
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to fix this, please?

Exactly the same issue here. HP Smart tank 5105 printer here, Windows 11 (24H2), every software/drivers are up to date. Confirmed that the printer is fully functional when used by an old computer (running W7-64). Printing from Android works perfectly too. Error occurs systematically from W11 whatever the software requiring the printing. I tried also to disable printing rendering from group policy, no effect... Seems to be linked to the last M$ Windows update as HP drivers were unchanged from the last time it worked perfectly.
Please HP, speed-up resolution as printing is totally useless at the moment from that computer.

Yes! I finally did this.. I had removed the software and printer from the software and reinstalled etc.. but when I finally went through my computers settings and 'devices blah blah' and removed it from THERE - that is what finally did it. Once I added that device back to my actual computer (and not through the smart hp app) it finally worked! Thank you!

I didn't even have to delete the printer from the HP Smart App. Just deleted the printer from Windows Settings, Bluetooth Devices, Printers & scanners. Rebooted the computer, added the offending HP printer back to my Bluetooth devices, and it worked.
