Hi @AshFog

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet 4650 is completely unresponsive. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to try and revive it.

Steps to Fix a Printer That Won't Turn On:

Perform a Power Reset

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and try turning it on.

Check the Power Source

  • Ensure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or extension cord.
  • Try a different outlet to rule out power issues.

Inspect the Power Cable

  • If possible, test with another compatible power adapter.
  • Look for signs of damage on the cable or connector.

Reset the Printer’s Internal Charge

  • Disconnect the power cord from both the printer and the wall.
  • Wait 2-3 minutes, then reconnect everything and try turning it on.

Check for Hardware Issues

  • If the printer briefly powers on but shuts down again, there may be a logic board issue or a loose internal connection.
  • If under warranty, HP support may need to service it.
