Updated to the new MacOs Ventura desktop operating system and now my printer will not print

I've tried removing the printer and resetting printer settings and restarting computer with USB disconnected and plugging into different USB port and nothing is working. It worked literally right before updating to Ventura on my mac desktop. So frustrated!

HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer series - J410 driver for macOS Ventura is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS. 

To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Printers & Scanners in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Control-click the printer in the Printers list on the right, then choose Reset Printing System.

So Gutenprint and Gimp-print is only for Mac OS X 10.2 through 10.14…Ventura is 13.3.1…cant find any new releases since 2019? May im missing something

I tried this several times and it didn’t work. Oddly I can use the scanner though so I dont know why It says idle when trying to print.
