@LindaBBailey,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums. I’d be glad to help with your printer issue 🙂

I understand that you are facing issues while setting up the printer on the network. How are you trying to connect the printer to the wireless network? Via printer control panel or via printer software on your PC? Also, what is the operating system on your PC?

Going through your post, it looks like an issue with the network password. First off, make sure that you are entering the correct password. Check this link if unsure about the password.

Now, try the steps below to connect the printer to the network:

  1. Press the Setup button () on the product control panel.

  2. Press the down arrow () to highlight Network, and then press OK.

  3. Press the down arrow to highlight Wireless Setup Wizard, and then press OK. The printer searches for available networks.

  4. Select your network name, and then follow the instructions enter the password to connect the printer to your wireless network.

For more details, please go through the User guide of your printer and this would help you setup the network.

Hope this answers your question.

Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂
