My kid spilled some water on our printer yesterday. I didn't see when it happened but discovered the devoce was wet when I tried to copy some documents.

I unplugged the device, wiped all the water I could and let it dry overnight. Is there anything else I could do? How long do you recommend for the device to stay unplugged? Is there any chance for it to work normally again? Thanks.

Unplug it from the outlet, leave it a day or two do dry, and if it will work you are fine.
