Hi, we have recently bought a brand new Z9 24" printer and have had nothing but trouble with it. We do very  little printing  but we have yet to turn it on without some kind of error message! The latest being :- 0065-0006-0059 and 0065-0006-0008.

We haven't even used up the ink in the small installation cartridges yet which show you how little we have used it!  Very disappointed in this machine, it is no comparison to the Z2100 we used to own.

These error codes indicate an issue with the scan axis motor or a blockage of the carriage. If the device is under warranty I would get a case opened and get a technician onsite, that assuming that there is no visible blockage. If it has been doing it since new, make sure that all shipping materials were removed when the device was set up. Was your dealer not any help in working this out?

Hi, Thank you for your reply.

Yes it does mention the scan axis motor. It is still under warranty...9 months to go! The dealer was no use whatsoever, they just referred me to HP which I thought was terrible after sales service and will be reflected in my reviews of them..DPSB .co.uk.

 

I will contact HP and start a case and hope they can resolve it quickly.
