HP ENVY Photo 7855
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

So this is the second time I’ve gotten this code screen in the last two months. Only this time.... I had turned the printer off before it happened. Within half an hour of shutting it down all the display lights are alternating blinking and I have this blue screen with a code displayed on it. It’s the same code I got a month ago, but I couldn’t ever find an answer on what the code was for. The first time I simply pressed the power button and it came back on totally normal. This time I tapped the power button and the blinking stopped, but the code screen is still there.

The code is B3F0ABE5

@SnowWolf, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

There is no specific information for the code: B3F0ABE5 yet, for more info on error codes, refer to this document. Let us try these steps that may resolve this issue.

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
