Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a new printer at Best Buy and an HP rep was there. He stated that I'd get 4 months free on a plan and then it'd be $9.99/month. The only cartrigages I've used are those that came with the printer and the replacement cartrigages. I was told that everytime I need a set of cartrigages I  would be charged $9.99 and get a set of cartrigages. Thus far, I've been charged 3 times and haven't gotten any.

I am just curious and the brochure i received stats what is said above. My address and information are registered with HP, so there wouldnt be any reason I wouldn't get them if that was the intention. Just curious to see what everyone else was told, and what they pay/pay for.

Thanks

Hi cubsfan317,

Sorry to hear about the confusion around your HP Instant Ink account.  How Instant Ink works is that you select a plan (in your case it sounds like the $9.99 / 300 pages per month plan).  You are charged $9.99 per month, regardless of whether you print 5 pages, or 300.  If you don't use your 300 pages, they rollover to the next month.  You will only be sent new ink cartridges when your old ink cartridges are empty.   You can read more about HP Instant Ink here.  It sounds like you don't do a lot of printing, so perhaps a lower cost plan (they go as low as $2.99/month) might be a better fit for you?

If you have questions or want to change your plan, you can contact the HP Instant Ink support team.  To do that, go to the Instant Ink site located here.  Click on "FAQs" at the top of the page and in the top right, there is a "Chat Now" feature or a phone number you can call.

For future people reading this message, you would need to select your appropriate country from the "Supported Countries" drop-down to get the correct Chat/Phone information.  The instructions provided above are for the US only.
