What causes my printer to leak ink?
Has this printer an inkcollector ? that is full ?
can this be emptied ?

Hello, Wanted to know if there is a real Ink leak happening in the printer. If yes, then need to know if the leak is happening from the cartridge itself ( defect in cartridge ) or from the printhead ( where the cartridges sit in ). in the above mentioned situation, replacing the ink cartridge is the fix. If the leak is happening through the printhead, then its time to service the printer. ( i'd suggest to go for a new one. ) At times the printer will throw an "Ink Leak" message on the display but you'd not see a real ink leak in the printer. This is mostly a firmware issue. And i don't see any FW update patch for this issue on www.hp.com. If the error is showing up more frequently i guess its time to go for a new printer.
