Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've got a 008E1E18 error on my HP Deskjet 8025. A search for this error code reveals nothing. Does anyone know what this means, and more importantly, how to fix it? I've turned the printer off and on, unplugged it and plugged it back in, but the error code persists.

I was unable to find what that error code means, but try a factory reset

The above should also work for 8025

 

If you can clear the error code let me know so I an make a note of what you did.

Hi BeemerBiker,

 

I had started to do the factory reset as you recommended. At the time, my HP printer had been unplugged for a few hours, and when I plugged it back in, it seemed to be just fine. So I really don't have a problem anymore . . . for now! I'll keep your answer, however, which I certainly appreciate, and if the error code pops up again, I'll try the factory reset procedure. The error code baffles me, though. I never saw an HP error code that was not found by a Google search.
