What is error code 0XB820EBDC?

What causes this error?  I unplug the printer and it goes away, but it eventually comes back with the same error.  Do I need a new printer?

Hi @wkahn1961,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are getting an error message 0XB820EBDC on your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

If the firmware update is broken or if any sensor issue occurs we get this message.

We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
