Hi, I'm new to the community...I'm wondering what would be the best printer that would be compatible for my HP Stream Laptop 11-y0XX?  There's no DVD drive on this laptop, but I LOVE this laptop!  Most printers require a CD that comes with the new printer and I believe that the CD is the "driver" to run the printer.  I'm not very tech savvy, but can anyone please tell me the best printer to use for my laptop?  Also, do I have to download a driver for a specific printer? I don't do much printing...my print needs are equivalent to using a ream of paper in about 2 months, and I am in school for Veterinary Technician, so I need a printer to print out specific lesson plans...So I would be considered "low" to "medium" volume printing...maybe 500 pages in 2 months..I'm open to any suggestions and any help would be greatly appreciated!  You can contact me directly through my email:  raizukeiko@gmail.com.  Thanks so much in advance!  Sincerely, Lisa

any of the newer officejet series printers would do fine.  Just make sure what you buy states its compatible w/ the OS you're running.  HP.COM offers all its drivers for digital download so you dont need a CD if your laptop doesnt have a bay for it.  just click the support tab, enter your printer info and download away!
