I have realigned, cleaned, placed new cartridges with no improvement.

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips. Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂 

I see that you have already cleaned, aligned and replaced the cartridges and print quality issue persists.

 

To diagnose this issue, print a Print Quality Diagnostic report from the printer control panel, then evaluate the results.

  1. Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools.

  4. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.

If you find defects on the Print Quality Report, manually clean the area around the ink nozzles and try cleaning and aligning again.

 

  NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.
