Officejet Pro 9020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We had an OfficeJet Pro 8710 and the same things was happening but it was a little old so we bought a new OfficeJet Pro 9020 and the same thing happens.  It prints on regular paper fine, but when we print multiple pages on cardstock all subsequent pages are off alignment.   Here are the things we have already tried:

1. Updated Windows and Printer Software/Drivers

2. Reset the printer

3. Make sure we are selecting Heavyweight papers in the printer options

4. Ensured the correct paper settings are selected

Again, when printing a single page it is fine, but my wife is a teacher and prints 20-30 pages at a time on cardstock so printing one page at a time is not a good solution.

The reason you are having problems printing on cardstock is that both printer model doesn't support cardstock.

Maximum paper weight for plain paper is 28lb everything heavier than that will probably jam or be out of alignment due to the paper being too heavy and not be able to pass smoothly through the printer.
