I am wondering if I need to manually turn off my printer after every print job. My main concern is the printhead drying out and clogging / losing longevity. I read somewhere that the printhead will park even during sleep mode, but the manual does not mention this.

The printhead will park automatically after a print job finishes, typically within thirty seconds.  I would leave the printer turned on and let it go to sleep mode.

If you do turn off the printer leave the power to the printer live - do not use an external switch such as an outlet switch or other external switch to turn off the printer.

Thank you very much! Then I can just leave the printer and let it sleep instead of having to worry about turning it off each time now.
