Hi @vinodthakuri007,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your printed photos are coming out slanted or crooked, even though the diagnostic page seems fine, the issue could be related to the printer’s alignment, paper handling, or settings. Here are some steps you can take to address and resolve this issue:
1. Check Paper Alignment and Loading
- Paper Tray Alignment: Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly and aligned properly in the paper tray. Make sure the paper guides are snug against the edges of the paper but not too tight.
- Paper Type: Verify that you are using the correct type of paper for your printer. High-quality photo paper often has specific loading instructions.
2. Check and Adjust Paper Feed Mechanism
- Clean Rollers: Paper feed rollers can sometimes cause paper to feed unevenly. Clean the rollers with a lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water, as described in previous instructions.
- Inspect Rollers for Damage: Ensure that the rollers are not worn or damaged. If they are, they may need to be replaced.
3. Perform Printer Alignment
- Print Head Alignment: Run the print head alignment process. This process adjusts the alignment of the print heads to ensure that the print is aligned correctly on the page. You can usually find this option in the printer's settings or maintenance menu.
- On the Printer: Look for a menu option related to "Maintenance" or "Setup" and select "Print Head Alignment" or a similar option.
- From the Computer: Access the printer properties or preferences through your computer’s control panel or printer software and find the alignment option.
4. Check Printer Settings
- Paper Size and Type: Ensure that the paper size and type settings in the printer driver match the paper loaded in the tray. Mismatched settings can cause alignment issues.
- Print Quality Settings: Make sure the print quality settings are appropriate for photo printing. Sometimes, high-quality settings can affect alignment.
5. Update Printer Firmware
- Firmware Update: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer model on the HP website. Firmware updates can sometimes resolve alignment and print quality issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
