Display panel on our LaserJet is blank white.   Tried unplugging, waiting 5 minutes and replugging and that didn't work.   Printer shows offline on the network, tried hooking up directly with a USB cable and still does not recognize the printer.   Thoughts?

Try this, open and close front door four times.  See if anything prints.  A series of horizontal lines - yellow, magenta, blue, and black lines should print.

If you can, plug in a network cable and see if any network lights come on. Lights are at printer network connection.

Opened and closed the door 4 times, it just cycles but nothing prints.    I don't see any type of light near the network connection in the back.

Tried it again and the page with with lines printed when I opened/closed the door 4 times......does that mean anything useful?

This page is an engine test.  The test confirms that the printer can print a test page.  So, you either have a defective control panel, formatter board, or both.  Start with the control panel.  Ebay will have some, T6B80-60101.
