Inspect the toner cartridge for damage
-
Remove the toner cartridge from the printer, and then make sure that the sealing tape has been removed.
-
Grasp both ends of the toner cartridge, and then gently rock the cartridge back and forth to distribute the toner.
Figure : Gently rock the toner cartridge back and forth
-
Check the memory chip for damage.
-
Slide back the cartridge cover to expose the imaging drum.
CAUTION:
Do not touch the roller (imaging drum) on the toner cartridge. Fingerprints on the imaging drum can cause print quality problems.

-
Examine the surface of the imaging drum on the toner cartridge.
-
If you see any scratches, fingerprints, or other damage on the imaging drum, replace the toner cartridge.
-
If the imaging drum does not appear to be damaged, close the cover, and then reinstall the cartridge in the printer.

Select the EconoMode check box to enable it.
If the entire page is too light, use these settings:
-
Select the FastRes 1200 option.

-
Click OK, and then click OK to print the job.

Spots on every second page is most likely caused by a transfer belt issue. Are the spots consistent in size? Can you post a sample? You can examine the belt by removing the cartridges and looking at the black or grey belt underneath. You will only see half of it so you may need to load and unload cartridges to force a rotation. You are looking for anything that might disrupt the proper placement of toner. Bits of label are a common issue or an actual tear in the belt.

Thank you for your response.
Yes i am getting one certain white figure with steady shape and size, on the left zone of the paper. Printing 6 pages in a row, the 1st has it on top left, the 2nd is ok, the 3d too, the 4th has it on nearly bottom left, the 5th has it on nearly top left, while the 6th is ok again! I checked the black belt between 3 page prints, following your istructions, but found nothing. Thanks anyway.

One thing to test is to run a couple sets of print quality sheets from the control panel of the printer. If the defect appears consistently on one color then you likely have a bad cartridge. If the page it appears on is random then likely you have something on the transfer belt, defects are not always visible, even touching the belt can result in a defect because your finger oils disrupt the toner transfer process.
