HP Smart Tank 5000/5100 All-in-One Printer pushes out a blank piece of paper and then the original either prints or printer jams.

Can you made a printer status page from the printer? its just to discard if there is a physical problem at the unit or just a problem from the computer:

Sent a printer status report. Then I tried printing and it sent out a blank piece of paper and then the page with my test message on it.  Status page shows connectivity settings ok. Don't understand why I get a blank page first and then possible jam for the next page. When I unplug it, it still sends out a blank page but it will print the original page ok but only 1 time and I have to unplug it again.

Well, there is a piece call "solenoid" which helps synchronize the feeding of sheets so that they are picked up one at a time and prevents jams, If the printer is under warranty I would call technical support.

Can't even find piece call "solenoid"  that you recommended on web site.

thats a "piece"..thats why you cant find it in a web 😄 , its inside of your unit, isnt a part that you can easily install
