The printer works nomally when using regular paper. Whin I attempted to use adhesive paper (the kinbg you peel and stick to a letter or package) It becomes jammed. I have to open up under the screen and manually remove it. Not sure if it requires a setting oit what...

In general, the printer is capable of printing sheets of labels.

Basic Instructions

Printing Labels for Addresses, CDs, DVDs, and More

The problem, if there is one, might be one or more of the following:

The "plain paper" setting is too small (rollers too close together) for the sheet of labels to travel through the printer.  The tiny space between the rollers might be "catching" at the sheet.

The rollers are dirty, causing the label paper to be caught, which in turn is "peeling" the label(s) from the sheet.

The label sheets are not of the highest quality.  For example, Avery makes a decent product as do other label manufacturers.  Not all paper products are "equal".  IF you are using a "budget" brand of labels, the results might be other than expected.

The labels, in spite of being "top quality" are in some way compromised:  Too dry, curled, too damp, bent...

                                       ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If the issue is related to the printer rollers (dirty, for example), try cleaning the printer to resolve the issue:

Paper Jam Error

If the issue is related to the settings, set the Media type (kind of paper) to something other than plain paper.  For example, look for a setting for type:  Index, Brochure, cardstock, "something" that tells the printer the sheets of labels are thicker than "normal" paper.

If the issue is related to the label product (poor quality, old, damp, bent, curled), there is nothing for it except to replace the product.
