Hi everyone,

 

I started recently having a problem with my HP Deskjet 2540 printer.

This printer has worked for years, with different PCs, connected via USB cable and with no manual installation (no CD, no drivers and software downloaded from HP's website, just plug-in and automatic Windows 10 installation).

 

Recent I installed the update to Windows 11 and the printer stopped printing (the document was in print queue and then an error occurred).

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are facing some printing issues with your HP Deskjet 2540 printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

Please follow the instructions on this Link to resolve the issue.

 

If the issue persists please go ahead and download the printer driver and Update the firmware from this Link.
