I accidentally purchased 65 ink instead of 63 ink because I was replacing my instant ink cartridge myself bc I needed ink asap and I had not received new ink... the previous instant ink cartridges were labeled 65/304. So I went and purchased 65 ink thinking that was correct. Once I opened and installed the cartridges my printer let me know they were incompatible, even though the cartridges fit. Only then did I realize that the printer itself actually requires 63 ink...
It does not seem like I can return or exchange the 65 ink cartridges to Walmart since they were opened already.
Are there any suggestions of what I can do with the 65 cartridges or how this can be resolved? Thanks

Welcome to the HP Community --
We see this type of question on occasion.
True - Many stores do tend to frown on returning opened merchandise -- protocols vary, of course.
I think you are asking if HP wants to give you a refund for the opened ink you purchased from Walmart.
My personal opinion is that this sort of practice is unwarranted in the sense that accidental or wrong purchases from one store are not the the responsibility of a different store. After all, HP sells HP ink at the HP Store.
That said, my opinion does not impact the results. I do not work for HP.
Consider that you have a built-in option -- you have an Instant Ink contract that comes with a method to contact HP.
