HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My yellow cartridge (HP Officejet Pro 8620) needed replaced.  As usual, I purchased a new HP 951 cartridge from Office Depot and upon replacement got an error.  Cartridge Problem:  one or more cartridges appear to be damaged.  I purchased another Yellow 951 HP brand cartridge from Office Depot and have the same problem.  I have followed all of the troubleshooting steps to no avail.  Please help.  I really can't afford to keep buying cartridges or a new printer at this time.

Hi @JoMedicare,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Update the Firmware

If this does not help, either the cartridges are faulty or the printer needs to be checked.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
