HP Deskjet 1510
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have replenish my HP color ink cartridge recently for HP1510 Deskjet model. The color cartridge is come with 3-in-1 which consists of yellow, magneta, and blue. However, when I try to print colour images or diagrams using Microsoft word, it came up purplish color and seems like missing the yellow color.

I did try to clean the printer head and do clean ink catridges, but the printing came up still missed out of yellow color.

May I know how to solve this problem? 😞

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Power resetting the printer, performing an automated and manual cartridge cleaning may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:

1) Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector

2) Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door

3) Remove the power cord from the back of the printer (Do no press the power button)

4) Clean the electrical contacts, refer to solution 4 from this document.

5) Clean the area around ink cartridge nozzles, refer to step 11 from this document.

6) Plug the power cord back into the printer

7) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges.

😎 Perform an automated cartridge cleaning, refer to step 12 from this document.

Let me know how it goes!
