Hi @Foz2012,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding error code on your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
The flashing E and yellow light on your HP ENVY 6032e indicate an error state. Let’s troubleshoot step by step:
Since the printer isn't printing and the E is flashing, it usually means:
- A paper jam
- Low or faulty ink cartridges
- Printhead issues
- A cartridge door is open
- Connectivity problems
Check for Paper Jams
- Open the printer and check for any stuck paper.
- Remove any jammed sheets carefully.
- Restart the printer after removing jams.
Check Ink Cartridges
- Open the front access door and ensure the cartridges are properly seated.
- If they seem fine, remove them and reinstall them.
- If the ink is low or not recognized, try replacing the affected cartridge.
Close All Doors & Lids
- Ensure the paper tray and cartridge access door are fully closed.
Restart the Printer
- Turn off the printer, unplug it for 2 minutes, and turn it back on.
Check Wi-Fi & Connection Issues
- If using Wi-Fi, reconnect your printer:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi & Cancel buttons for 3 seconds until the light flashes.
- Reconnect via the HP Smart App on your phone or PC.
Reset the Printer (If Needed)
- Factory Reset: Press and hold the Wireless & Cancel buttons for 10+ seconds until the printer resets.
If the Issue Persists
- Does the printer show a specific error code (like E1, E2, etc.)?
- What happens when you try to print?
- Are you using original HP ink cartridges?
Let me know what you find, and I’ll guide you further! 😊
