HI @Ollie19561,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When all lights are flashing on an HP LaserJet 2504dw printer, it usually indicates a critical error or malfunction. Here's how you can troubleshoot this issue:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 1-2 minutes, then plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Allow the printer to boot up completely and check if the lights are still flashing.
2. Check for Paper Jams
- Open the printer's covers and check for any paper jams or obstructions.
- Remove any stuck paper carefully to clear the paper path.
3. Inspect Toner Cartridges
- Make sure that all toner cartridges are properly installed and seated in their respective slots.
- If any cartridges are low or empty, replace them with new ones.
4. Check for Hardware Issues
- Inspect the printer for any visible damage or loose parts.
- Ensure that all covers and trays are securely closed.
5. Update Printer Firmware
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP LaserJet 2504dw printer.
- Visit the HP Support website and download/install any available updates following the provided instructions.
6. Reset Printer to Factory Defaults
- Reset the printer to its factory default settings to clear any configuration errors.
- Refer to the printer's manual or HP's support website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
