Hi when i print i get little black dots down the side of my page almost quarter into the middle. I have done a clean etc and the printer is a few months old

If the dots are evenly spaced down the page then it is caused by one of the rotating components, either the drum in the cartridge or debris stuck to the fuser.

The fuser is usually very difficult to see, but you could remove the toner cartridge and look at the blue/green drum on the bottom to see if you can see a matching mark or debris on it. You can attempt to wipe the debris off with a lint free cloth but if the drum is damaged it would need to be replaced.

 

If the device is still under warranty you should open a case at support.hp.com.
