Product: HP Officejet Pro 8100 ePrinter - N811a/N811d
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra
I have an OfficeJet Pro 8100 running off a Mac Pro (OS 10.12 Sierra). The printer has worked like a charm, until today. I replaced the black ink cartridge with a new hp 950XL a few days ago (I have always used hp cartridges) and it worked fine. When I tried printing today, the black ink cartridge column was blinking (the column showed there was ink in the cartridge), and the printer would not print. I tried unplugging the printer for a while, then plugging it back in, no luck. I tried cleaning the contacts with rubbing alcohol, still no luck. I tried using the old cartridge from a few days ago, but it still shows that it is out of ink. Now what do I try?
