I recently changed my genuine HP black ink cartridge and ran all cleanings and tests and the black ink does not print on my photosmart 5514 printer. I have tried all fixes in HP troubleshooting short of reinstalling the printer software. Does anyone have a good fix for this problem ?

Hello,
Here are answers to your questions.
- When was the last time the printer was working fine? About 3 months ago. I do have long periods of time without using the printer.
- Are you facing the same issue when you make a copy? Yes, black ink does not print with making a copy.
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer? I have only done the usual updates to my Windows 10 operating system.
- Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting? I did all the troubleshooting steps and cleaning of the printer before posting my message. That means I followed the steps in the referenced article and it did not help.
What else can I do at this point ?

If you continue facing the issue, I recommend you replace the cartridge and check.

Hello,
I have done all the recommended troubleshooting steps and I have already replaced the black cartridge with a genuine, new, HP black cartridge and I still have no black printing or copying. My printer is out of warranty.
Please send me a new printer.
