Hello,

Can you help me solve the problem i have?

My printer prits the black text in a watermark light gray color. The other colors or fine.

I checked my printer inkt status but this was fine, also a test sheet was ok. The light gray text is also clean, but it should be darker.

What could it be?

Thanks in advance

The definition of a Watermark is that it "fades" against the background.

Possible ways to Minimize the "fade" (relevant to Word):

  • Use a photo that does not have to be set at more than 150% of "actual size".
  • UNCHECK the "washout" feature when you create the Watermark.
  • Use the smallest "page size" that you need for the document.

Example:

Word 2016

"Picture" Watermark (from image collection on computer)

Washout "UNCHECKED"

Size 150%

Dear Dragon-fur,

thx for your message. I think i didn’t express my question well. I don’t want a watermark. Its the black color of my printing result of a text that’s not black enough. It’s rather light gray, but there is no problem width the inkt cartridge or the painting heads...

The options are somewhat limited - most do involve the ink system, whether it be the ink cartridge or the print system that uses that ink.

Available solutions are explained in the order to be completed:
