Hi @Ann1109,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 is still not printing blue ink after cleaning the printhead, replacing the cartridge, and restarting the printer, you can try the following troubleshooting steps.
Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the blue ink cartridge is full and properly installed. Sometimes, cartridges may be faulty even when they appear full.
Run the Printer’s Diagnostic Tools:
- On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the Setup or Tools menu.
- Look for Printer Maintenance or Diagnostics, and run the Print Quality Diagnostic Page or Printhead Cleaning again.
Perform a Printhead Alignment:
- Access the Setup menu on the printer.
- Find and select Printer Maintenance or Tools, then choose Align Printhead.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Check for Clogs:
- If the cleaning did not work, manually check for any clogs. You can do this by running another cleaning cycle, or gently cleaning the printhead with a lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water or isopropyl alcohol. Make sure to let it dry completely before reinserting it.
Use HP Smart App:
- If you have the HP Smart app installed on your device, use it to check for updates or run diagnostic tests that might resolve the issue.
Check for Software/Driver Issues:
- Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. You can download them from the HP website.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
