While printing, the printout started becoming streaked and blurry in spots. After cleaning, realigning and even new cartridges I started receiving "Carriage Jam" error. I did the troubleshooting of unplugging power and usb, and also checked carriage movement. Also from the beginning there has never been a paper jammed inside. The error will not allow me to do a test from the setup button - setup, 2, 5. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi @mtchura
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!

Thank you for your response! Having tried all other things and needing to work at home during this Corona Virus, I decided to just buy a new printer! Hey I got 15 GOOD years out of the old one! Again thanks for your help!
