hp photosmart c4480 all in one
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My hp photosmart c4480 all in on printer is showing a carriage jam. I have done what the screen display says to do. When it's turned back on and the carriage tries to move to the far right it gets hung up on a piece.  After several tries, the piece will move so the carriage can get by, but then the piece moves back and the carriage is stuck on the other side of the piece.  I've tried the virtual and it just runs me in circles.

Hi @MOMMY04

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print due to an error. I'd be happy to assist you.

If you have performed the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
