I never ever use my printer for faxing.  Yet faxing is the default mode.  This requires me to manually reset the printer from faxing to printing every time I want to use it.  How do I change the default from faxing to printing?

Windows 10 allows you to let Windows manage your default printer:

Settings > Devices > Printers and scanners

Scroll down

CHECK or CLEAR the box next to "Let Windows manage my default printer"

OR

Select the Default printing device manually:

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers >

Right-Click on your printer > Set as Default

Chrome may not be selecting the default printing device correctly; adjust the settings:

Chrome Browser:

Open web page to be printed

Settings > Print > Under Destination > Change > Select your Printer as the Default

Click Thumbs Up on a post to say Thank You!
