I had set up the officejet pro and it has been working great. However, I changed the password on the email account that I use when i send documents via email from the officejet... so the officejet now errors out when I try to scan and send a document via email.... this should be a real simple change...but I have been over the manual, and the officejet screens and I can't figure out how to change the password for the email account. Help please.

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums After reading your post I see that you require assistance regarding changing your email password on the HP connected account. It will be a delight to assist you here.:)
Superb analysis and brilliant diagnosis of the issue before posting. 🙂 Kudos to you on that score. 🙂
For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Do you get any errors when you scan to email?
For now please try these steps:
- Please re-setup the scan to email feature by following the steps from this link: http://hp.care/2tCBD2r please check pages 13 and 14.
This should fix the issue as you are reconfiguring scan to email and setting it up again.
Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, Going by your technical expertise and competence I am sure you will be able to perform these steps without breaking a sweat. 🙂
