I've bought the M110we in spring this year. Around 2 month ago i bought a new cartridge. After printing around 300 pages there is the error "check your account"
webserver says "Printer cannot print. A problem has occurred and you will be unable to print, except for printer reports, until the issue is resolved. Check your HP account for more information. To learn more, open the HP Smart app or visit www.hpsmart.com and sign in to your account."
I have no subsciption for Instant Ink, i can't even register there, got error message OW_4XX_OWSWS00001.
Support via whatsapp told me to buy a new cartridge, did not work, thanks Robin.

I bought a brand new cartridge at an official retailer on the advice of your colleague, although the old one was still half full.
