i am in the us moved from the UK.

My HP envy 6220 was running with 303 ink in the UK. coming to US, I could not find 303 ink models at the shops, and searching on the internet  I read that the compatible ink for my hp envy 6220 is the hp 64 ink model.

i bought it but now the printer says it is incompatible and does not allow to print. what should i do?

Hi @Kosta74,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

HP ENVY PHOTO 6200 ALL-IN-ONE CARTRIDGE NUMBERS

United States and Canada

64 and 64XL Black

64 and 64XL Tri-color

These cartridges will work

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Gaya1239.

The solution you suggested seems logical and I am sure it will work.

However, as I will be flying back to UK in a couple of months and I do not want to go through the same process of performing a region region reset, I have ordered online ink that is compatible with the current settings.

thank you again for your advice and I will keep it on the side if needed in the future.
