I'm trying to copy for the first time. Copy comes out about 3/4 size of the original with a large black band at the top.
Also i can't find any instructions on line at HP on how to scan. There is no scan button on the printer.
I am using a wireless connection and have not had any problems printing.

Hi,
1. Copy: Did you copy the whole area ?
3. Scan: no, printer does not have a Scan button, you need to Start from your computer(s). Please use instructions from page 41 of the following manual:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05152483.pdf
Regards.

I figured out the copy problem was because the document was not being pulled into the scanner quickly enough, so this translated to a smaller copy/print area and the copy came out so much smaller. Solution was just to be sure the original is fully pushed into the unit.
Your p.41 solution of instructions from the HP guide certainly worked for how to scan. I'm disappointed that the instructions are not more evident on the HP website. This is not my first scanner, nor my first HP copier but so far what came with the HP machine ARE the worst instructions I've ever seen experienced.
Thanks for your help.
