My new HP 9130e all in one printer keeps locking up with a critical error F0.01.01.02 error.   Today I can't clear it.  Any suggestions?

Welcome to the HP Community --

Your Firmware is older than what I am seeing on my printer.

Perhaps try manually checking for and updating the firmware - see the last part of the message in the document.

When my 9135e hangs up and won't budge, I unplug it for a minute - plug it back in and wait for it to boot.

Updating the printer firmware manually did help clear out the worst of the offenders.

Just Blathering On -- New printer stuff...

My new OfficeJet Pro 9135e is always kicking around firmware errors and messages that clog the log file.

Example - EWS -

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section General > Event Log

OR

Section Support Tools > Reports and Pages > Download > Event Log > Download

and

Section General > Firmware Update > Firmware Updates

and

Section General > Firmware Update > Firmware Information

I have decided -- at least for now -- to ignore all except the critical errors and I've set my Firmware update to notify me instead of having the update try to install by itself.  Personal choice...

Honestly, I do not yet know this printer as well I as would like -- purchased last month -- I am still sorting the vagaries and management techniques.

Thank you so much!  I updated the firmware per your suggestion.  We will see what happens next.  I appreciate your response.

You are welcome.

Based on my limited experience with this new beast, even after the firmware is presumably happy, the messages and such will continue -- unless the printer throws up metaphorical hands and stops working, my opinion is to ignore the rest.  Smiling.
