I just replaced the Cyan cartridge on my HP Laserjet CP1525nw printer. cartridge # 128A. When I closed the door the printer started making a horrible noise. the best I can describe is it squealing and groaning. It finally stopped. Once a sent a print job to the printer, the page came out all blue. The whole sheet was covered in blue toner. I printed 3 more pages with the same result. I then removed the brand new cartridge and replace with the old one and the problem went away. It printed perfectly. After that I thought I would try the new one again, and I got the same thing. printer was groaning and moaning. and the page came all blue. Also I noticed blue toner all over the printer that had sprinkled out. This cyan cartridge was 1 of the 3 in a brand new bundle. I just opened this morning. These things are too expensive to be defective. I need a replacement cartridge asap. The bundle is a authentic HP cartridge that has the hologram on the box. # 96442925180 I validated the security seal with my phone

Hi @tlwright21
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
It sounds like the new Cyan cartridge for your HP LaserJet CP1525nw is defective, especially since the old cartridge works perfectly. Here are some steps you can take to address the situation:
1. Check the New Cartridge:
- Inspect for Damage: Look closely at the new cartridge for any visible damage, such as cracks or defects in the toner area.
- Shake the Cartridge: Sometimes, gently shaking the cartridge can help distribute the toner inside. Make sure to do this carefully.
2. Clean the Printer:
- Remove Toner Residue: Clean any spilled toner inside the printer. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe up any excess toner to prevent further issues.
3. Test the Cartridge Again:
- Reinstall the New Cartridge: After checking and cleaning, try reinstalling the new Cyan cartridge again to see if it behaves differently.
- Listen for Noises: If you hear squealing or groaning again, it’s a sign that the cartridge is likely defective.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
