Hi @stellaaurielle,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Deskjet 2541 All-In-One Printer is experiencing issues with all lights blinking and is not being detected when connected via USB, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  1. Check Hardware Connections:

    • Ensure that the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.
    • Make sure the power cable is properly connected to the printer and a working power source.
  2. Restart the Printer:

    • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cable, and wait for about 60 seconds.
    • Plug the power cable back in and turn on the printer.
  3. Check USB Port and Cable:

    • Try using a different USB port on your computer.
    • If possible, try using a different USB cable to eliminate the possibility of a faulty cable.
  4. Reinstall the Printer Drivers:

    • Uninstall the existing printer drivers on your computer.
    • Download and install the latest drivers for your printer from the official HP website.
  5. Update USB Drivers:

    • Ensure that your computer's USB drivers are up to date. You can check for updates in the device manager.
  6. Use a Different USB Port or Computer:

    • Try connecting the printer to a different USB port on your computer.
    • If possible, try connecting the printer to a different computer to see if the issue persists.
  7. Reset the Printer:

    • Turn off the printer.
    • Disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer.
    • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cable and turn on the printer.
  8. Check for Paper Jams:

    • Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams. Clear any jams if found.
  9. Update Firmware:

    • Check the HP website for any firmware updates for your printer model. If available, follow the instructions to update the firmware.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
